This painting is part of an ongoing series which is called “Dreamspace”. It depicts a fragment of one of my most common and most favorite dreams where I find myself flying above the city on a huge carousel. The carousel is so giant that I can fly on it in wide circles around the whole center of the city, where the urban lake and park are placed. The most exciting moment in the dream is when I’m flying high above the water, summer trees around me, the cool breeze upon my skin and the summer sky above. And as the dreams are part of my surrealistic universe, the water beneath me is still and it’s swirling everywhere at once. Things around are huge and tiny, still and moving at the same time. And this is the most specific and peculiar thing about all the dreamspace which I’m happy to travel through. Though no words can describe it, here’s my painting that shows just a small part of everything that I happen to see during especially beautiful nights.
